Anything for you ma’am
Hey blog. As usual many half typed posts are there but still I go for a new post. This post “Anything for you ma’am †is not about my cute, sweet, pretty, adorable, lovely ma’am. It is about a book I just read.
I wanted to read this book as soon as I dropped by a blog that had a really short and sweet review of the book( I forgot the url as I didn’t bookmark it. Silly me). So i got this book for 90 bucks. This is a cool thing about Indian books that they don’t puncture a hole in your pocket(referring to Chetan Bhagat). So it is always harmless to buy these books.
The timing of reading was perfect, Near 2nd mid sem exams. But that’s the time when you slightly have a feeling to read(Doesn’t matter how bleak it may be).
So about the book i can say “Lovely!”. This is written by a final year iit student thus it makes the book very special. Anyways here is the list of a few things I wanna say regarding this book.
1) There is lot of glamour associated with IITs as they are the most prestigious institutes in
2) Love stories are always in demand.
3) Reading this book was like reading a blog. Everything looked so true at a point of time and then so fake!!
4) This book is a fun read.
5) Cars and Sardars are everywhere
6) Girls look good with open hair (whyyyyyyy??)
7) Falling in love and continuing the relationship is tough better climb
A guitar playing, singer, poet guy can easily impress any gal in the world (if she can hear/listen).
9) Love is blind, mad, lame , idiot, but anyways it is powerful.
10) Everyone becomes a poet after reading first half f this book but this feeling passes away soon.. (cant believe I wrote a few lines of poetry.. thank god no more poetry now)
11) Tushar Raheja you’ll be a great author a day.
12) Girls can speak cutely (I didn’t know that!!!!!)
13) J-U-G-A-A-D is a universal word
14) Nothing like enemies and friends exist in this world these are purely relative terms.
15) Always ask an unknown guy his surname/family history before talking about your affair else results can be destructive
16) Booze safely.
17) Express yourself
18) Be imaginative and think think and think in difficult situations
19) Be yourself
20) Have a great vocab so that you can impress, depress , confuse anyone….
21) I now know what we’ll be called if we land into IITs..MATKE (All M.TECH students are known by this name)
I think this book helped me to learn many things more than those pathetic self help books. In the end I can say that I will read this book once more in order to understand it fully (with all the meanings of those difficult words)….And in the and “Anything for you ma’am†lol…
Bye blog catch ya after 2nd mid sem exams…byeeee
Namastey London
Namastey blog. I saw Namastey London today. So his post will be about it.
The day started in a normal way. I was to bunk whole day s oi got up at
This time Akash stood in the line and got the tickets. There was a great rush. We could only get the extra chairs that were placed due to the heavy turnout. I cant forget to mention the cute the sweet and the beautiful girls there. Very unusual sight ….
Movie started. It was 1st day 2nd show. What happens in these shows deepi wrote long ago (when we went to see Don). The commentary was terrific. Some dialogues worth mentioning can be.
Scene: Upen Patel comes to his home and his dad slaps him….
The commentary:†Shakal dekh jive Sirhind road te kutta mariya hunda..â€
Dafa jo ja ithon.. rest I cant write..
The movie is cool. I was sure to like it as Katrina is in it and she was looking very pretty in Indian as well as western outfits.
But it was Akshay who ruled the film. Everytime he was on screen we all laughed (there was a senti scene and we laughed at that too coz of commentary). Rishi kapoor was also funny in his Punjabi accent as the famous abuse “teri ….†Was also there
All in all a fun film full timepass….
Today was martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh. Most of the students wore turbans. Pics I will post soon…….
Bye blog.. catch ya later
Saturnalia,Sarkar and GATE
Finally my tired fingers are typing something for you. Thanks to my friends who inspire me to make posts. Now as always lots and lots of things to type but my laziness wont allow me.
Saturnalia happened in our college. You can read about it from here. Not much to say about it . it was boring as compared to last year, participation was lesser, fashion show was pathetic, Jassi night was boring like hell. But western dance was good and so was Black Slade and thanks to suneet he made a lot of videos and took pics too (west. Dance ooooooooo). Club RPM was other good thing that happened at this event.
I finally saw Sarkar yesterday. It was awesome. Although cant be compared with the godfather but AB is definitely Indian version of Brando. Abhishek was very good too although cant be compared with Pachino.
After 4 days of ash college started again. Really I love to hate my college but the example of my Homesick friend made me think about it once again..
Gotta run now. Parents are yelling to leave PC. By the way I cleared gate. I got All India Rank 153 and a score of 466. It would get some branch at DCE. Next time I’ll try for IITs. Anyways it seems
Bye blog..catch ya soon…..
NISHABAD n TRAFFIC SIGNAL
Well hey blog.. I am back. Now I will write about the movies I saw at this weekend. As usual trying to make this post brief I start about the topic..
Traffic signal:- First of all thanks Arun for giving this movie. It was good I wont say great because great is the title very few movies deserve. As expected from a Madhur Bhandarkar film it was based on real stuff. This time the life of persons who make their living on traffic signal. Like beggars, newspaper sellers etc. I didn’t know that their life can be so interesting and full of all the stories that were part of the film. It had everything …comedy, romance, crime,drama.. whatever you can think of.. even the language used in the film looks appropriate and not too offensive like omkara. I cant type much to describe this film.. better see yourself….
RATING ***/*****
NISHABAD:- I know the first thing that comes in your mind is “Theme is so patheticâ€. Many of my friends said this whenever I discussed about this film. Finally today I got the chance to watch this film. So we were 4 people. Me,Suneet,Hardeep,Chiranjeev. Sadly Deepi couldn’t come with us as he had his MBA exam on Monday. Anyways the movie started. As usual RGV style. The locations were brilliant and so was the backgroung score. Now the movie itself. First of all remember a few things.
This movie wasn’t all about Jiah Khan (Although she is hot..ok ok very hot and the first thing I did after coming back home is to download her wallpaper and set it on my pc). This movie was all about Amitabh. He was terrific. He was the only one who carried the movie all along with him. His style, dialogues, acting, emotions, expressions all were perfect. We were comparing this film with American Beauty. But it wasn’t anyway near to it. That film was very crude and bold. This on the other hand was very conservative and sensitive. Thank god RGV handeled it perfectly. This movie is slow but like The shawshsnk redemption this makes the movie better and Jiah Khan is the best discovery of RGV so far. She is perfect in her role of a teenager who wants what she likes. I don’t want to write anything about the plot or ending of the film as it will act as a spoiler. In the end I can say that either you will like this movie or you will just reject it. I loved this film and I don’t care if anyone likes it or hates it and most probably I will try to watch It again.
In the end you just can’t help thinking that the film definitely needed to take its title seriously: some things are better left unsaid – Nishabd.

SHORT STORIES
Hey blog I have not typed anything for you since a long time. Here is a post inspired by Keshi’s blog.
MEMS
Our subject. We tried to flunk the exam by scrapping the syllabus but as usual there were some traitors. Our sir came to know about it and said to Harish Kumar “Bachhe harami ho gyeâ€.
MANDY
Lots of incidents about sir. Tough to write everyone as I have become very lazy these days. A few I would try to post here.
Sir asked “What is PUNK?†a student replied “Male Prostituteâ€. I was not present at the class but I have heard that sir was very happy to listen to this answer.
An incident happened which sir narrated in the class.
Someone wrote on the blackboard
“Teacher will not meet his class todayâ€
It was edited by boys to
“Teacher will not meet his lass todayâ€
and further by girls to
“Teacher will not meet his ass todayâ€
Now Holi is approaching . it is mandy’s favorite festival. Like Gabbar Singh he always asks. “Kab hai holi??†(when is holi?)
I VOTED
For the first time I voted. It was a very long line and I had to wait for 1 hour for my turn. At least I have become a responsible citizen now.
Read this blog (the anticlimax part). You will understand.
MOVIES
Yesterday I saw “The Constant Gardenerâ€. Movies like these really make you sad.
I also saw “BATMAN BEGINS†.That was awesome and Katie Holmes is so pretty..
The Departed won 4 Oscars and finally Martin Scorsese got what he deserved.
Its sad that
Now bye blog. I hope to catch you soon for the updates………
HASTA LA VESTA
Don’t get confused by the title. It is under the influence of two things.
The first is TERMINATOR2 which I saw in Punjabi. It was both funny and pathetic but indeed was a lot of fun to watch and listen..
The second is the Pre Sat VESTA going on at our college. I didn’t attend day1 I saw only half of day2 and 3 . ( and I am still cursing myself that I missed Twisted movie of our year that even NANHA SHAITAN loved)_..
So here comes the brief description of Hasta la Vesta so far
Day 1: Didn’t attend….
Day 2: It started with Hindi solo.
The first singer came and his song was “tune mujhe pehchana nahinâ€. When he repeated the same line 123456677 times people started saying “han bas pehchan litta hun ja vi.â€
Then came ranno of our year. He sang the same old soon boondein of silk route that he has sung for infinite times in the class. Without the guitar and drum it didn’t go well.
After that someone sang song of Lagaan. He did it really well.
Then came Mr. T of computer on drums with his friend singing. He was in lot of enthu so this resulted in the breaking of drum stick and they had to repeat.
In between PG guys started
“PG di balle balle baaki saare thalle thalleâ€
We replied
“PG hai hai.â€
Then RJ came with Happy and they performed okeish but they won!! (3rd year rocks)
Then afterwards came the event we all have been waiting for “choreographyâ€.
First team performed and they gave average performance .. but the real thing happened when our year came..
Most of the participants were performing for the first time but they were performing well. everything was going smoothly then someone came. my friend’s favorite uncle “MURPHYâ€. You will read it more from this blog and hope from this blog too. The CD got stuck and their performance was to be stopped in middle. But they came back and won (3RD year zindabaad!!!!!!!!!!)
The sexiest performance was of first year.
Then I left and missed a great twisted movie. 3rd year rocked again.
DAY 3:- TINDRA.. Don’t laugh it is a musical group of
Now they started performing. The trio was great (Smart,Beautiful and Sexy). They were so classy yet so enjoyable. The music was divine and although it was classical but it was enjoyable (their narration of stories before the songs was amazing and even if we didn’t understand their language we got the meaning of most of the songs.)
People were going mad (whistles, cheers etc.) and YPS students were gazing at hooligans like us in utter amazement. The Director was feeling shy (KABUL EXPRESS kinda thing was going on). SM was excited and DOSA left for back seets (coz it was too hot to handle for sir).
They even made the audience sing along with them and everyone tried it although a pathetic attempt but it was fun.
In the end they sang “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram†. it was magnificent and we all loved it.
Then the performance ended and director came for speech and his expressions I cant describe here. He was happy .. so was everyone as we don’t see such performances everyday……
Now bye blog.. vesta goes on hope my posts too…
scribbles
Well well well … sometimes you are normal.. sometimes just an ab is attached to it.. So you become ab-normal and some persons are just “suneel singla†. So unpredictable and so abnormal.. just out of this world.. with people like him on earth nobody will suspect the presence of aliens on this planet. When I saw MIB (Men In Black) for the first time It reminded the great resemblance between SKS and Aliens.. anyways not behaving as a psycho further (who is behaving I am one every1 knows, atleast my blog knows)……
Again in some rage I uninstalled all IM clients i.e. Yahoo,Gtalk,Rediff,MSN from my PC and going 1 step further I deleted all the setups too. Chatting is the worst thing that could happen to you after ..(forget it). I was happy that I was not an addict to it like my friends at college but during last year I just became so addict to it that I cant explain. But still that goddamn meebo exists. I know I won’t be able to resist chatting but the max time I do its better for me..
A new teacher came for control systems tutorial. She is pretty but so disgusting as far as her behavior is concerned. She even told us to sit 2 students per bench… pathetic!!!!!!!!
Nothing going these days.. just a reminder for me of the movies I have to see..
1) KILL BILL
2) MATRIX 3
3) JOHNY ENGLISH
4) RAT RACE
5) THE GRUDGE 2
6) THE RING
7) BOURNE SUPREMACY
CASINO ROYALE
9) ARMEGDDON
10) DÉJÀ VU
11) THE AVIATOR
12) BLADE TRINITY
13) ALEXENDER
14) UNDERWORLD
15) SHORTBUS
16) SAVE THE LAST DANCE
17) CHILDREN OF MEN
18) CHASING PAPPY
19) WOH LAMHE
20) PRETTY WOMEN
21) DOOM
Rest I cant remember.. I think I have got a huge list of pending films.. I need to see them all before my next trip to hostel for more….
Pre Sat is coming.. hope that to be fun…
Bye blog.. I will try to post man(dy) on fire next time….
MY ………….
The picture you are watching above me is the top view of my ultimate fucker.. sorry sorry alma mater TIET.. I am sad or angry or depressed or simply confused I don’t know. But this semester is hell. The most pathetic one after second year first sem. The teachers I cant describe. If one is bullock cart the other is a Ferrari but attending both classes is a torture. But a few good things are in form of MANDY sir and Sanjay sir. But the other factors simply overlap them. Its like beating someone like hell then giving him a rose in his hand and saying I am sorry.
Bye blog.. I will catch you soon.. for MAN(DY) ON FIRE
