Sem so far….
Hi everyone. So finally the sem has begun and now almost 2 weeks are over. This much time is I think enough to predict how this sem will go. Here are a few things I noticed till now.
1)Seminars: - We have given 2 seminars till now and this sem alone has 4 of them (5 for AV). But I think each one of it will be a new experience (horrible expected) anyways as usual I will blog them all. So I should start working on them.
2)Faculty: - Nothing new this time. As usual trademark faculty of EIED and 2 sharabis of ECE (Shayad ik adhiya gift karan nal A lag jae ) and D madam as well (I don’t think any guy will miss a single tute of micro pro. Even mech. Guys want to attend that tute..ah atleast something +ve). We all miss MANDY sir a lot. He could have taught any subject related to EI but I don’t know why he didn’t agree to teach us??? Some guesses are there but anyways forget this. Till now YS is the best and football is the worst.
3)Tripathi- those who don’t know him let me tell you. He is a lab attendant of EI lab and looks a lot like Mr Bean (If he belonged to Bihar). He speaks pathetic Punjabi and like all Gajodhars uses “HAINGI” instead of “HAIGA”. One day when there was no electricity at our lab then he called the persons concerned and what he said is like this. “Hello main Tripathi boldi haingi, EI lab vich light nahin haingi, Bye EI lab jo USIC nal haingi, USIC nahin pata haingi?? Jithe Tripathi baithdi haingi”. He said all this at the top of his voice and all students were laughing a lot. Anyways those who have endured a psycho (singla) they will find Tripathi as a kid.
4)Iced Tea:- Finally my favorite iced tea is back. Average intake 3 mugs a day. My only addiction after surfing and perhaps buddy’s too. Bheem is back and the sentence “Yaar Bheem 1 ice tea dena” this is much better than asking Raju for it. + everyone knows that how Bheem becomes sad when any gal calls him “Bheem Bhaiya”. ****** problem is fixed too. Finally after 42 long days….
5)Friends:- So nice to see all friends again. Missed them all a lot. Now we are back with our usual spree. Jokes, Mimicry, laughter everything is back as usual who needs anything else when such great persons are around.

Hi..sem 5
Hey blog. Finally the govt allowed blogspot. Good to know that I can access my favorite blog once again. Official though. I had to cut down my surfing hours after dad warned to sell the PC if I surfed for that duration. Then came the phone bill too. The landline bill which rarely crossed 700 was 1400 this time. Thanks to me being honest and paying for that connection. But there was a good thing as well. I will get data1 connection because of this. Chal moving on I saw some of the impacts of my blogging. Thank god none of this impact landed on my cheeks. I don’t mean kiss I mean a slap. Bang!!!! That incident was a close shave. I could have landed in lots of trouble. Then my bad habit of reading scraps of others saved me. Just in time. Bad habits really help sometimes you see. They increase your knowledge too. Anyways no mood to discuss about the dozens of bad habits I have (will make a different post about it and I bet my friends would know 99% of them) lets start with the post.
It started again. Same college same persons. But I was happy to meet all of the friends after a long time. Then my favorite iced tea was back too (average is 3 per day but I will reduce this now). Then some good things happened. No Power Kaur in this sem. Here is the faculty which will try to teach us (and as usual will fail) this semester.
1)D madam: - I will not write full name. Everyone knows. She is our tutor in Microprocessors and she is the instructor of ECE. First time we regret not having a joint class with ECE. You might have guessed it. She is beautiful except the pimples on her face. She has a sweet voice and is perfect in all the aspects. Although we had only 1 tute of her. Even the animals of ECE sit peacefully in her class. She wanted 100% attendance and we were ready for 120% if she wished. Let’s see what kind of teacher she turns out to be.
2)SAN:- Our microprocessors instructor. His face is so pink that we used to call him “pink city” or “jaipur uncle”. Best friend of randy and very close to a faculty member. He is very fond of drinking we have heard. This shows in his lectures too. The way he teaches one can say that he is drunk. Lets see what will I write about him in the post at end of sem.
3)Randy:- coolest dude of ECE. He is a Jatt but looks like TS and talks like him too. A well known “Sharabi”. This shows on his face as well. But he SEEMS TO BE a good teacher. Best thing about him is that there isn’t any burden of attendance and there is no need to study a book either. An A grade in his subject starts from 87 marks.
4)YS:- What can I say about him. his name is cool(reminds of Yudhvir Manak a Punjabi singer) or it is his unique hairstyle. Anyways very boring lectures. He said “I know the art to make subject interesting”. Not true at all. Mandy sir is the best in this. But at least he is not like Tom,Dick etc.
5)GKR:- Sorry no comments about her. Her bro is our classmate and he will kill me for this. But I still remember how she taught MST. “Sawhney mein se dekh lena Article 29.33.33”
6)RA:- Also known as warden. Husband of “MAN EATER”. But entirely opposite to his wife. Tandon did his acting very well in freshers. Another boring creature. But still better than TDAH.
7)TRM:- Anna. I yam what I yam. Yup you got is right. He is a south Indian who doesn’t even know an iota of Punjabi. This thing caused him some trouble during tutes. Because some guys were abusing him in Punjabi and poor sir was laughing. He laughs a lot. On first day he asked names of all the students and he butchered all the Punjabi names. This was funny. Some of the difficult names he took easily but he messed up some easier names as well. Like “hormone sidhu”,”brahmaaaleeena”,”ashim” etc.
I think I have mentioned about everyone. This sem is very important for my GATE preparations. I need to be serious about study from the start. Also dad isn’t happy with my performance at all. Anyways bye blog……..
Another screwy day nothing else…
Hey blog. Today wasn’t a good day at all. Here is what happened today.
Finally it is over. Today I got the certificate from Riken. All the suffering and traveling was due to this piece of paper. This simple piece of paper which is common to all. Whether they have attended training or not. No criterion for attendance at all. All the work we did here is worthless. I never wanted to be regular but dad wanted me to be regular so I went there for training. Now I feel what the mistake I have committed. All the work and suffering we have undergone in these holidays is worthless. No credit for being regular and for all the work we did. I think buddy is in better position than us. He did a lot of work like all of the others at training with him. I am feeling very sad now. There are sometimes I turn very pessimistic, today is one such day.
Then my internet connection is bugging me again. Net one was fine in morning but now it refused to connect. I tried many times but just managed to open Orkut and f1.com. Then it got disconnected again. I still don’t know when I will be able to publish this post.
I got to know Ferrari got P1, P2. Alonso got P3. Whoever wins tomorrow it will be fine. Or in other words I damn care about the results because I wont be able to watch the game anyways. I have realized 1 thing that expectation sucks. So just leave the race and enjoy the party tomorrow. But even then if Schumacher wins then buddy will get something to cheer about.
Life goes on. Waiting for Monday when I will meet all the friends after a lot of time. Chal bye blog………
Holidays over…back to college
Hey blog. This is the last post during holidays. First of all thanks buddy. When I was chatting with you I got 5th way to crack invisible mode in yahoo messenger. The simplest of them all. It is always fun to catch someone in invisible mode. Especially when the other person has experienced this for the first time. But I rarely do it now. Because I feel it is not ethical. Person like me talking of ethics!!!! LOL. Still searching for another ways for it.
I am almost done with the report. But still no clue about how to give presentation on it. I hate these presentations stuff. I still remember how I gave those 2 presentations of comm. Skills and OB. Comm. Skill presentation was fine but in OB there was 1 x factor as well. Thank god nobody knows about it except some of my friends. Let’s see what happens from Monday.
One thing I have realized during holidays that our college isn’t that bad. T.I.E.T.-Faculty is a good thing. I really missed college a lot during holidays especially friends and ******. Thank god it will start from Monday. So I can get a lot of things to blog like I used to do in previous posts. In this sem I can make a post on Power Kaur (other batches used to call her machine kaur). Very difficult subjects like power electronics and control systems are wating to **** us. But no problem. In these 2 years I have seen a lot or suffered a lot. We have seen great teachers like M.A.N.D.Y., Maneek sir etc and greatest of them all like “the tom”,dick n harry .
Waiting for Monday because I will meet a lot of friends after a long time. Thanks to YM,Orkut,blogspot we were connected during holidays as well. 1 thing I will not miss at all is all the traveling we did during holidays. So ta tu holidays and T.I.E.T. here we come….
Woh 3 Raatein (Those 3 Nights)
Hey blog couldnt resist myself from typing this. So got somtime to make this post.
I know some dirty minds must have started working after reading the title of the post. Let me cut short your excitement. I am referring to Saturnalia that happened in our institute after a long time in last sem. As usual my trade mark dialogue “I wanted to post this way back”. So to make this post brief just start it.
1) Night oops Day 1 :- Day 1 because we weren’t free on first day of Sat. our classes and labs commenced as usual. That was martyrdom day of “Bhagat Singh” so some persons were wearing Indian outfits. PN with his as usual dictatorship send some students out of the class for doing this + OPP was very angry and he warned that from next year nobody will be allowed to do these things. Tute of Emraan Hashmi was free as usual so we utilized it well. Played song “XL di kudian” and at that time all girls were present. HS was a bit excited and played “Sutta”. But it was stopped before real thing could begin. Then a line of a legendary song “GMD”(Don’t even ask me its full form) was also played. Then the clash of DVD and SB. Both are a*s h***s. people tried to convince SB but he wasn’t ready to hear. Sad thing was that in this process DVD’s dad had to suffer. Moving onto the atmosphere at college. It seemed that something big was going to happen. People were very excited about the chicks that were expected to come. But believe me what we saw there we weren’t too excited. People who have joined various committees were busy. I was a member of most popular community “Spectator committee”. Was feeling a bit useless though but anyways. Life style show was scheduled at 7:00 PM. I reached there with DJ. Tandon was rocking as usual. His mimicry of Manchanda sir was great. Then came the worst thing. Some disgusting twisted movie. We played snake multiplayer on 6600 via Bluetooth that time. Then came the anchor of the show. Man he was a pro. He just knew how to manage people and to gel with them. Well he would be mentioned a lot in the post so I name him HR I don’t know what his real name is. I still remember that “ehooooooo” and “oyaaaaa”. Then some Punjabi songs were played. Shamur rocked the night. Then this LS show started. Teams were divided as alphabets. Team A was pathetic. Then our college was good. Those familiar faces we have seen them a lot now. Nothing more to mention but some “cats” etc. but students of Univ. of Waterloo did well considering they did it without girl power. But but but group “H” yeah H means hot na? it was the best. Team was from NIFD chandigarh. Girls were great. We could hear “Ah tan college vich “F” laga ditta”. Then the MG’s khalbali incident. He was to jump railings to goto VIP area. He was stuck in between and remained there for a few seconds as if his something is smashed. We were laughing a lot. I wanted to click him but my cell was not with me. Then was a play by 1st year and waterloo students. It was indeed a great play. Then it was all over. We went to SR and had dinner there. Finally reached home at 1:00 AM.
2) Night 2:- Rock show was scheduled on this evening. I didn’t come to see events during the day because I was in no mood to see a Mudra kinda thing sacrificing my sleep. This time I was alone. People flooded me with questions about the absence and some said you missed ******’s performance, she was looking great u missed her and so on. Also saw the most disgusting person of college there. Then saw her too ?. But she wasn’t attending the show I suppose. Then reached there again at 7:00. some folk dance event was going on. Saw “Malwai Giddha”. It wasn’t as good as Mudra. But in open space you cant expect a better sound too. AV and CJ participated in event of aviation club. Finally rock show started. First song sounded crap as sound system wasn’t good. Anyways the whole show was looking boring as I haven’t heard any rock band except “system of a down”. Buddy was enjoying the show with his “Fearless 5 group”. A huge relief came when band1 finished their performance and Punjabi songs were played. Some bhangra finally. Then band 2 came. Another crap song I was about to leave then they sang “Vandey Mataram”. This was great. I just stopped there and coudnt go. This was the best band of the show. Then same old crap. But I got to know about Pearl Jam. I was as usual searching internet sites from phone to know the lyrics of the songs they were singing so I could understand them. It was 11:00 PM then. All girls were said to leave. We were confused why this is so. Then buddy joined us too. HR was better than last day. He also did a lot of bhangra on Punjabi songs. He changed his style a bit and used “burrraaaa” and “Balle balle” . Then came last band. The lead vocalist was like a pig. When he spoke all of us died laughing. He said “This is my f*****g favourite song”. When he sang he shouted f**k many times. We knew that this will be disqualified. Finally it ended at 12:00. again had dinner at SR . then went to drop CJ to his home. On return I was greeted by a lot of Scoobies. They started chasing me. My bike saved me again. Gear 5 full throttle was needed to escape such a large number of dogs. Got a new experience that nothing can match speed. I love my bike. Reached home very late.
3) Night 3:- It was Euphoria night. I didn’t like this band before I saw their performance. I thought that I would skip this event but temptation to see a star live (or alive lol) was too good to resist. This time buddy was messaging me about timings. Reached there at 6:00. Again same things. You missed **. She was looking great. You missed ****** too. How could you? When we entered the venue very few people were there. Finally they arrived. Start of the show was as expected. They sang some of their songs we have never heard. Anyways crowd was getting mad and their was a lot of dust. It was difficult even to breathe. They were singing some boring songs and crowd was singing “Pehle Lalkare Nal”. Then came a surprise. Palash sang “O humdum sunio re” from Saathiya. Then he sang Dil chahta hai. It was great. Me and CJ both Jal freaks were praying that he should sing Aadat as well. Then after this song he sang his song “dhoom pichak dhoom”. As usual boys and gals were separated by a partition. Palash was a bit astonished to see this and he commented a lot on it. Man it was fun. His comments on faculty members were awesome. Most of the faculty members were with their children so again the hunt for NC was on. PN was holding his kid like a wire on an electric pole. YKC was also with something didn’t know it was a boy or a girl. Kaler aunty is taller than kaler uncle and lots more things we discovered. Then someone from girls threw something on stage. He was engry and he said one more time this happened and he would leave. Then on lots of request he sang “Mayari” then he also sang “Its my life”, “Bheege honth tere”, “Brick in the wall”. Then a song from his forthcoming album mehfuz as well. Then came the rain. Show over. Again went to SR this time 2 hours early. There was a lot of chaos at SR. her presense at SR was perhaps only +ve thing there. We finally managed a seat and were confused what to eat. Nothing was decicded till 15 min. buddy became furious and left. Then we ate something. Pathetic food. Finally reached home at 10:30.
4) Last Day:- Just got a good news that on Monday college would be closed. Couldn’t believe it at first then got message from many persons. So saturnalia was over.
Now back to report again. Now MUDRA will be there on coming sem. Looking forward to it. Lets get back to work. Ta Tu blog…c ya
